Dr. Mina W. Morcos is a highly skilled and compassionate orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement surgery. With a strong foundation and a distinguished academic and clinical background, Dr. Morcos offers cutting-edge care for patients undergoing joint replacement procedures.
Dr. Morcos began his academic journey with an undergraduate degree in Physical Therapy from McGill University before progressing to Laval University’s medical school, where he earned his medical degree. He then honed his expertise through rigorous orthopedic training at McGill University, during which he also completed a Master’s degree.
To refine his surgical skills, Dr. Morcos pursued 3 prestigious fellowships in hip and knee arthroplasty and trauma at Western University and the University of Toronto. His specialized knowledge spans all aspects of hip and knee replacement surgery, including primary and revision joint replacement surgeries, partial knee replacements, patellofemoral replacement and robotic-assisted joint replacement. He is also an expert in minimally invasive surgery techniques, which promote faster recovery times and improved outcomes for his patients.
Dr. Morcos is recognized for his significant contributions to orthopedic research, with over 30 peer-reviewed publications and numerous awards and grants and he is an assistant professor at Montreal University. His commitment to advancing the field of joint replacement surgery through research is matched only by his dedication to providing exceptional care and communication to his patients.
